The weekend took place on the kickoff of the Super14, major rugby tournament in the southern hemisphere. It includes teams from New Zealand, Australia and South Africa and is dominated by several seasons since the team moved to Christchurch Crusaders (that falls well ...). The first game of the season is a clash between New Zealand: the Chiefs are based in Hamilton in the North Island. 
Players All Blacks are present on the lawn in both teams. The event is played in a stadium half full, a forum is under construction for the next Rugby World Cup and the atmosphere is very family with many children that encourage their team while not yet assimilated all the rules of the game however quickly we realize that we are far the folly of European fans who scream and sing during the match. No, here the audience chatter, get up regularly to get to eat or drink after a distracted eye encounter. Only tries scored by their team appeared out of their torpor.
Yet the proposed show is not uninteresting and fairly balanced game. The final score 19-13 for Crusaders (3 tries to 2) would also have been higher without the bad choice by the Chiefs mainly. At the end of the match, access to a part of the lawn is allowed to conduct an autograph session and allow the kids to approach even closer to their idols. We'll go on the lawn without begging for autographs ... Indeed later in the evening we will meet the star of the team and the All Blacks captain Richie McCaw, patiently waiting his turn at the back of a petrol station!
